WAZZUP!

Born in Boston and raised in Georgia, I’m a decadent meal of baked beans and peaches. I have that city drive and southern hospitality. I grew up annoying my parents by reciting Dreamgirls and dancing along with Happy Feet, so that bubbly energy had to go somewhere. But what stuck with me the most through my reenactments was seeing stories of people that looked like me. I learned very young that I (we) need to author ourselves into existence.

My foundation from NYU Tisch School of the Arts has given me training at the Experimental Theatre Wing and Atlantic Acting School, as well as my minors in Producing, Business, and Dramaturgy, which have provided a deeper understanding of my artistry. I learned how to express the truths of those unheard through many art forms from dance to devising/writing to acting. Collaborating with crazy, cool, creatives has been and will always be my favorite activity if it's not listening to vinyl or adding books to my library. I love diving deep into vulnerability with the layers of love, rage, fear, and joy that connect and reflect the universal experience and the times.

“The purpose of art is to lay bare the questions that have been hidden by the answers.”

James Baldwin
